Fiore's: A Longtime Local Fleetwood Favorite

Fiore’s Italian Restaurant has been a beloved local favorite in Fleetwood for decades. In 1991, Giuseppe (Joe) Fiore was on a mission to find the perfect spot to open his very first restaurant. When he saw a closed diner in the heart of Fleetwood, he knew immediately that this small-town gem was the place for him. With unwavering determination, long hours, and hard work, Joe opened the doors to Fiore’s Italian Restaurant on April 16, 1991. Now, nearly 34 years later, Fiore’s continues to be a beloved cornerstone of the Fleetwood community.

The family’s entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. In 2018, the idea of opening an ice cream and gelato shop began to take shape. However, finding the right location was key. In December 2019, an exciting opportunity arose when their real estate agent informed them that CeeGee’s in Blandon was for sale. After thoughtful consideration, the family decided to embark on a new adventure. On May 4, 2020, they opened Fiore’s Chill-n-Grill Cafe.

“We’re approaching our fifth anniversary, and we’re very glad we made this decision,” Candy, co-owner of Fiore’s said proudly.

Fiore’s success is a true reflection of the family’s collective dedication. At Fiore’s Italian Restaurant, Joe and his son Giuseppe take the lead, with invaluable support from Anna in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Fiore’s Chill-n-Grill Cafe is expertly managed by mother-son duo Candy and Francesco. Despite their individual roles, it’s the spirit of teamwork that keeps both businesses running smoothly.

“We’ve learned to help each other out in whatever is needed to make sure everything runs smoothly,” the family shared.

Giving back has always been a priority for the Fiore family. Over the years, they have supported countless community events through donations, gift cards, and dine-n-donates. They take pride in fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

“Clean dining, friendly service, smiling faces, and good food are just a few things we offer the community as business owners,” said Joe. “We love knowing our customers personally. Having our businesses in small communities makes that possible. We might not always remember a name, but we definitely love to see all the smiling faces enter our doors.”

The Fiore family’s relationship with Fleetwood Bank goes back decades. Candace has been a customer since the mid-1970s, and Joe joined in 1991 when he opened the restaurant. Their sons also started early, opening school savings accounts during their elementary years. Over time, the family has used a variety of services, including personal and business checking accounts and loans.

"We’ve always enjoyed banking with Fleetwood Bank. Not only is it very convenient for us, but all their employees have always treated us with high respect through all the years we've been with them. And we thank them for that," the family noted.
