On Saturday, April 5, 2025 the Schuylkill Valley Softball Booster Club is hosting the 10th Annual Spring Thaw Golf Tournament at Manor Golf Course in Sinking Spring, PA. All proceeds benefit Schuylkill Valley Softball Booster Club. Entry cost is $95 per golfer and $380 per foursome (scramble format). Registration and lunch takes place from 11:30 AM to 1 PM and a shotgun start will take place at 1:30 PM. The entry fee includes a round of golf with cart, complimentary range balls prior to the tournament, lunch, snacks, dinner, and beer / soda / water. Also included is closest to the pin and long drive contest holes, as well as free future greens fee for all golfers. On course contests will also be available for an additional fee.  The deadline to register is Saturday, March 1 or until all spots are filled. Rejoicing Spirits of Eastern Berks County invites anyone to attend their services and fellowship times on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Parking is located behind the church with an accessible entrance from the parking lot. All are welcome to each 30 to 40 minute, no-shush ecumenical worship service that enriches the lives of all people, especially the differently-abled, their caregivers, families and friends. Rejoicing Spirits includes music, playing musical instruments, joyous singing, opportunities to participate, brief and meaningful messages, and the chance to connect with others.
