Fleetwood Bank Named Best Financial Institution and Best Bank

FLEETWOOD BANK NAMED BEST FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND BEST BANK

Fleetwood Bank was just named Best Financial Institution by Berks County Living Magazine. This is the 23rd year that the region’s premiere lifestyle magazine has honored winners. A total of 15,018 votes were placed by magazine readers and community members alike who voted for their favorites in 35 categories from July 1 to August 31 of this year.

This win follows not even two months after Fleetwood Bank was recognized as Best Bank for Reading Eagle’s 2023 Readers Choice Awards. The award was received after the bank won against four other finalists: Fulton Bank, M&T Bank, Tompkins Bank, and TRUIST. Reading Eagle’s contest included nine different sections for the community to vote for their favorites, which ranged from Financial and Home Services to Food and Entertainment, and totaled over 110 winning categories in support of the best businesses in the area.

“We are honored and proud to have received these two awards back-to-back, especially since both wins were determined by the people of this great community. It’s gratifying to see that the majority of the people are supporting local, which is illustrated in their decision to vote for the only bank headquartered in Berks County instead of other, larger banks in our area. Clearly, people highly value the hometown hospitality that Fleetwood Bank will always offer. The intangible factor of character still matters – and always will – at Fleetwood Bank. Our team is comprised of decision makers who live in our community, so we get back to our customers quickly. Community bankers have a long-term commitment to the people they serve, creating opportunities for our customers and our communities as a whole. For us it’s about building a stronger community – whether that’s through pitching in to help build a ball field or purchasing new instruments for the high school band. We work with our customers when they are working through difficult times, and we celebrate with them during the good times. It isn’t about interest rates and fees; it’s about helping families buy their first home or put a child through college and being there when they need us most. We’re not just bankers; we’re your neighbor and friend. That’s the difference a local community bank gives you.”

- Timothy Snyder, CEO & President of Fleetwood Bank
