Kutztown Branch Construction

Our Kutztown Branch Has A New Look To Better Serve You

Our Kutztown Branch officially reopened its doors on Monday, October 7! Now that we’ve had a little over a month to welcome everyone back, here’s a look at what our customers and our team are loving most about the updates:

  • The Welcoming Atmosphere: Our Branch Manager, Leah Ross, has noticed this is a common compliment she receives from customers as they come in to see the new branch. “Customers often comment that they feel more welcome due to the atmosphere and openness of the branch,” she explains. The fireplace (which is our Financial Services Representative, Mandy’s favorite aspect of the renovations), located next to the couch creates a relaxed ambience while a customer waits for an appointment. Similarly, “the spacious counter in the lobby welcomes many customers to simultaneously fill out deposit and withdrawal slips,” explains Seamus Cahalan, Financial Services Representative.
  • Efficiency and Upgrades: From the upgraded desktop monitors to the new cash recyclers, many technology upgrades were also made to the Kutztown Branch so our team can do their job in a more efficient manner to ultimately save customers time.
  • The Modern Look: The new lighting coupled with the glass windows creates a bright, open, and inviting space. “The professional vibe that is given off by the architectural design of the branch is my favorite aspect of the renovations,” reflects Jona Santiago, Assistant Branch Manager.

Construction Update - June 28:

We continue to make quick progress thanks to our diligent contractor, Stanley W. Bauman Jr. You may have noticed exterior work has been completed on the roof, fascia, and trim, in addition to painting. Our construction team is now starting on the gable end siding.

Inside the branch, demolition has been completed, as well as interior wall framing and rough in schematics for the teller pods, seating area, and fireplace. The electrical service change has been completed, and concrete demo has taken place in preparation for the electrical conduit.

Mechanical, plumbing and electrical rough ins have begun. AP Merkel is completing HVAC and plumbing work and Wetzel Enterprises Inc. is completing all the electrical work. Division 09 will complete the flooring and glass walls, and case work is being completed by Beam’s Custom Woodworking.

Per Travis, the Foreman overseeing the job, “Stanley W. Bauman has two or three team members on the jobsite daily to keep the project moving forward.” As we work to enhance our facilities for your utmost convenience and comfort, our Kutztown Branch remains operational through our drive-thru. Our contractor’s efficiency and care has allowed us to keep our drive-thru and ATM open throughout the entirety of construction thus far. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we will continue to keep you updated on our progress.
